今天下午去沃爾瑪買東西，過外面的好幾家音響的店前，都是聽到 Hotel
California（加州旅館）這首歌，當然這是一首好歌，走過去的人都會駐足聽一下效果。在裏面買東西，裏面當然有電視、音響等，我走了一圈，差不多聽了4、5次。突然，我在賣CD的那裏聽到了，而且看到了那裏電視是在播這首歌的演唱會MTV，我不禁駐足在前面，足足5分鐘多時間，一直到聽完，好久想看一下MTV了，都沒有看到，現在看到了，回來後就上網找了半個多小時，終於讓我找到一個了，此時勾起我對這首歌的回憶。現在就寫下來：
這首歌，我現在有時候一天聽好幾次，百聽不厭，不愧經典。下午到現在要寫這篇文章，至少都聽了10多遍了：）開始聽到是大學時候，聽到這個旋律就讓它吸引了，後來聽多了，那時候最喜歡聽的是其中唱到
since 1969'和最後的you can never
leave!後來逐漸瞭解了這首歌，知道了歌詞，歌詞也寫的很奇怪。讓人不懂深度含義。好像是在說夢境，因爲Wake you up in the middle of
the night，有好像不是，整個都在寫實際。有人說到：這是一個黑店的故事，這應該是比較真實，實際上，這首歌，寫的是70年代頹廢的社會風氣。
94年樂隊重聚開unplugged演唱會留下的Hell Freezen Over成爲20世紀銷量最大的一張專輯2500萬張的銷量就是連Michael
Jackson也望塵莫及。這首Hotel
California有電聲和現場兩個版，電聲版延長較爲平緩，聲音位置靠後，吉他的即興華彩層出不窮，真正醉人的是裏面的大段略帶失真的華彩，並不快，也不是那種摧人心肺的大金屬，每個loop中又有著精妙的變化，節奏清晰明快，讓這首6分30秒的作品聽起來過的很快，我更喜歡現場版的Hotel
California,開始的木吉他的琶音和輪指領起bass鼓和手鼓，一種意境油然而生，就像開一輛76年的Ford
Mustang，兩條貫穿車身的紅色色帶是你看起來象一支箭穿行在Califoria的寬廣的高速路上，現場版的人聲有相當的感染力和渲染的色彩，伴奏位置靠後，木吉他的華彩同電聲版有著較大的區別，柔軟，舒適，感染力很濃，節奏同電聲版一樣，也用了大段的重複的loop，牽引著你的思緒也隨著現場的氣氛爬升。歌詞又是這首歌的另一個驚人之處，描寫了奢華安逸的加州旅館"Welcome
